Originally from the Czech Republic and now based in Tel Aviv, I’m the founder of CandeLight — candles so realistic, you might want to take a bite (but please don’t!).​

 

Like all the best things in life, CandeLight started by a sheer coincidence. After years of me buying every candle I could find, my husband gifted me a DIY candle kit — mostly to slow me down. I wasn’t impressed… until I dropped a cinnamon stick into one of my first white creations and saw it staring back at me as a cup of sahlab. That moment changed everything... 

 

​What began as a small experiment turned into an obsession — and eventually, I left my hi-tech career to build CandeLight full-time.​

 

Today, I handcraft candles inspired by desserts, drinks and nostalgic local treats — from krembo and challah to sufganiyot and matcha. Each piece is made with meticulous attention to detail to look and smell incredibly real, and to spark instant joy.​

 

I also create unique Havdalah candles that blend tradition with a playful twist.​
